    [Update 2.0] Skill changes

    Hey all!

Easier to note the changes here than on the Discord.

I've taken you're feedback and comments onboard and gone through another round of testing over the weekend to see where our class changes are at. As you guys and gals have pointed out, there are some issues with classes not performing as well as they could when placed against others.

For me, it's all about balance, no one class will be the best at everything, so keep that in mind with these changes.

    DARK KNIGHT (BUFFED)

Dragon Fury (Spear) - hits 8
    • Level 1: HP -20, MP -10; Basic attack 200%
    • Level 10: HP -20, MP -10; Basic attack 245%
    • Level 20: HP -25, MP -15; Basic attack 295%
    • Level 30 (max): HP -30, MP -20; Basic attack 325%
Dragon Fury (Polearm) - hits 8
    • Level 1: HP -20, MP -10; Basic attack 190%
    • Level 10: HP -20, MP -10; Basic attack 235%
    • Level 20: HP -25, MP -15; Basic attack 285%
    • Level 30 (max): HP -30, MP -20; Basic attack 315%
Looking at DrK, I'm happy with the amount of damage they do against bosses in Berserk mode (215%) when using with Crusher (190%, x3 hits). However, the class wasn't performing as it should when mobbing. Their damage lagged behind other classes, particularly Shadowers and Hero's. These changes to Fury will make them the King's of mobbing, so they will be key to any Elite Party looking to clear large mobs as quickly as possible.

To note the difference between Spear Fury & Polearm Fury: Spear was given a slight damage boost given it does slightly less damage than a Polearm when in 'swing' motion.

    BOW MASTER (BUFFED)

Arrow Rain (now does two lines of damage)
    • Level 1: MP -18; Basic attack 52%
    • Level 10: MP -18; Basic attack 70%
    • Level 20: MP -23; Basic attack 90%
    • Level 30 (max): MP -28; Basic attack 110%
Testing BM out, the job was not good at all in the area of mobbing. Given BM's don't have a 4th job skill, this was a difficult one to balance out properly without giving 3rd job Ranger's too much of an advantage. This change gives BM's the opportunity to double their chances at a critical hit, and increases their mobbing ability by around 15%.

    MARKSMAN (BUFFED)

    Arrow Eruption
    • Level 1: MP -18; Basic attack 122%
    • Level 10: MP -18; Basic attack 140%
    • Level 20: MP -23; Basic attack 160%
    • Level 30 (max): MP -28; Basic attack 180%
Piercing Arrow (reduced charge to 1 second)
    • Level 1: MP -18, Max Attacks 520%, Attacks up to 4 enemies
    • Level 11: MP -28, Max Attacks 720%, Attacks up to 5 enemies
    • Level 21: MP -38, Max Attacks 905%, Attacks up to 6 enemies
    • Level 30 (max): MP -33, Max Attacks 1050%, Attacks up to 6 enemies
In light of the changes made to BM, I've also increased the damage of Eruption.

Piercing Arrow still wasn't have the right impact on mobs - it took too long to charge, the charge would occasionally fail and it just wasn't nice. This boost in damage and a reduced charging time to 1 second (from 1.2 seconds) should make it much more impactful.

    BUCCANEER (BUFFED)

Dragon Strike (reduced delay, now hits 10 mobs)

Energy Orb (now does 3 lines)
    • Level 1: Damage 170%, attack up to 2 monsters.
    • Level 7: Damage 200%, attack up to 3 monsters.
    • Level 13: Damage 230%, attack up to 4 monsters.
    • Level 19: Damage 290%, attack up to 5 monsters.
    • Level 25: Damage 350%, attack up to 6 monsters.
    • Level 30 (max): Damage 400%, attack up to 6 monsters.
    Demolition (longer range)

    Barrage (longer range)

You asked (persistently...) and we're delivering. Having run some more tests, the class was really lacking when trying to be an effective mobber. The damage generated wasn't up to par when compared to most classes. These changes will make you a lot stronger, more similar to the damage output of other utility classes like Paladins, being both respectably efficient at mobbing and bossing.

    CORSAIR (BUFFED)

    Battleship Torpedo
    • Level 1: MP -22; damage 510%; attacks up to 4 monsters at a time.
    • Level 11: MP -28; damage 660%; attacks up to 5 monsters at a time.
    • Level 21: MP -34; damage 810%; attacks up to 6 monsters at a time.
    • Level 30 (max): MP -40; damage 900%; attacks up to 6 monsters at a time.
After the most recent changes to the class, it still wasn't having any impact in the game aside from when bossing. The new and improved Battleship still wasn't good enough when partying on Elite, so these changes to Torpedo increase your overall damage output by around 20%-30% - a big jump.

    BISHOP (NERFED)

    Angel Ray
    • Level 1: MP -16, Basic attack 202, Mastery 15%
    • Level 10: MP -16, Basic attack 220, Mastery 30%
    • Level 20: MP -24, Basic attack 260, Mastery 45%
    • Level 30 (max): MP -25, Basic attack 310, Mastery 60%
Sorry Bishops. Too much damage. Based on similar testing, your output on 1v1 situations (bosses) had you much higher than Shadowers, Buccaneers, Dark Knights and Paladins. This brings you more in line with them. Don't worry though, based on the testing, you're still an excellent addition to any party - whether it's on Elite or Bossing.

    F/P ARCH MAGE (NERFED)

    Paralyze
    • Level 1: MP -16, Basic attack 64, Mastery 15%, for 5 secs, 2 hits
    • Level 10: MP -16, Basic attack 100, Mastery 30%, for 10 secs, 3 hits
    • Level 21: MP -30, Basic attack 132, Mastery 45%, for 10 secs, 4 hits
    • Level 30 (max): MP -25, Basic attack 150, Mastery 60%, for 15 secs, 4 hits
Well, we're lucky there aren't any F/P Mages still playing. These guys do damage. Serious damage (as in, topped the ranks across ALL classes). This change brings them more in line with other classes, but keeps them as the best in the mage class when bossing.

Any questions - let me know in the comments section!
